With over 25 years of experience in India and the global L&D scenario, Padmaja is recognized as a true value – enabler with leadership and consulting expertise in the areas of OD, Organization Strategy Mapping, Crafting Vision and Values, Business acumen, Women leadership development, Sales & Service Excellence, Executive and performance coaching for leaders and teams with leading clients across industries. She has personally trained/coached over a lakh of professionals in India, Europe, Asia and USA.

 

Her multifaceted personality along with extensive experience in women empowerment and women leadership development for various corporates, has led her to become one of the founding members/ Partners of WeMantra, that focuses on building inclusive and diverse ecosystems for corporates in India.

 

Padmaja is also the founder and CEO of Siksha – one of India’s leading consulting and training organizations that architects human capital development.

 

Among the many awards and facilitation Padmaja has received, prime amidst them are the National award bestowed on her in 2011 for educational excellence and the National Talented Ladies Award in 2006 recognizing her contribution in the field of Learning & Communication.

Dr. Abha Bhartia

 

Co-Founder & Partner

 

Abha is a qualified Learning and Development specialist with a career spanning over 17 years. She brings with her a combination of business and training skills. She has developed business in her earlier employment in regions like Pune, Bangalore and Chennai. Her focus on apt training need identification and working closely with her clients gives her the additional leverage to design and deliver programs that have high impact. She is a founding member and partner of WeMantra.

 

Her journey from an employee to an entrepreneur was inspired by her role as a mother. She took a break from active career after her first child. She registered for her research program during this sabbatical to not only keep herself productively engaged but also to add value to her expertise as a consultant and facilitator. She restarted her career as an Independent Consultant continuing to work with reputed multinational and national companies. Inspired by her personal journey and experience, she co-founded WeMantra.

 

Armed with degrees in HRD and Psychology, Abha is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Management from IIT Madras. Her certifications span both the worlds - of academics and corporates. She is certified by UGC and has several training accreditations to her credit. She is a certified NLP trainer and coach and integrates Neuro Linguistic Programming in her facilitation. She is also certified in Transactional Analysis and other soft skills from various forums. She is trained on Instructional Design and facilitation skills from Carlton Advanced Management Institute, USA.

 

As an academician, she has extensively researched and presented papers in positive organizational behaviour topics like emotional social competence, thriving at work, building sustainable human resources, positive team climate and many more.

Abha has partnered as a L & D Consultant, facilitator and Coach with companies across industries like Ashok Leyland, Forbes Marshal, Diageo, Airtel, Deutsche Bank, Sundaram Fasteners, Michelin India, Murugappa group, IBM and Cognizant to name a few.

 

Abha’s core competencies include training need identification, content and instructional design and facilitation in various personal effectiveness topics, Sales and Leadership.

 

Abha has continued to chase her passion of extending support towards building a capable and inclusive work culture by founding WeMantra.

 

My thoughts on D&I : " Margaret Thatcher said 'Plan your work for today and every day and then work your plan.' This is one of the key philosophies I have built my career on. Many people were surprised when I quit a thriving career after more than a decade’s experience. It was not something I was forced to but a planned choice. I took the break to build on my knowledge base while being able to play the role of a mother satisfactorily. I have come across many successful women struggling to find their sense of balance and unable to relish their professional success as much as they deserve. I was fortunate to have the expertise and resources to plan my career and build a supportive ecosystem that could help me sustain it. This inspired me to work with working mothers to enable them to build their sustainable and supportive ecosystems and work with organizations to build an inclusive culture. "
